Jobnet have not been successful in obtaining any further funding for services across Sheffield after Jan 2008, so the service at Tinsley will no longer be available.

Jobnet operated from Tinsley Forum from August 2005 until December 2007.  It offered a free job brokerage service to local residents and employers. Jobnet supported local residents not in work, working under 16hrs or not in full-time education from 16yrs up-wards with Job Search, CV’s, letter writing, and confidence issues and to allow local people to access a database of city wide vacancies.

During that time, Jobnet registered over 50 clients, over half of whom found permanent employment or returned to full time education. The Jobnet Service also provided access to employability programs in partnership working with The Source at Meadowhall.
